FAMILY NIGHTS

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.
Ephesians 2:19-22

Growing the Church by
Building the Family

A church becomes a thriving family as it grows together in the unity of the Spirit. Our goal is to no only provide individual opportunities for spiritual growth, but to offer opportunities for growth for your entire family and our church body as a whole.

Family is important to God.  It's one of the most intimate and  important ways He uses to show us His love and equip us for His Kingdom growth.

Here at New Promise, family is important to us too!  Throughout the year we come together to celebrate and grow in the things of God. Here are a few ways that you can join in the fun:

  • Family Nights

  • Annual Thanksgiving Feast

  • Christmas Family Dinner Celebration

Family Nights

One of our goals is to build the church family by family. Throughout the year we host several Family Night Sessions on Thursday evenings. We meet for dinner as a church family to build community and increase opportunity for spiritual growth as one body.  We typically take 6-8 weeks and explore a specific topic allowing our families to grow together in the ways of Jesus. In addition, several of our church members will share their testimonies as it relates to the material we are studying.

The whole family is invited! There are classes and activities for the kids and a time of learning and sharing for the adults.

Annual Thanksgiving Feast

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever. Psalm 136:1. What better way to remember the season of Thanksgiving, than offering a time of praise and adoration to our King! We hope you'll join us for our Annual Thanksgiving Feast as we come together as a family to honor Jesus with thanksgiving and praise and celebrate the deep friendships He has given us through the community of the church.

Christmas Family Dinner Celebration

We love to celebrate, and there is nothing more fun than celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! You won't want to miss our Annual Christmas Family Dinner Celebration! It's a time to hear the story of Christmas in a unique way, hear our children's choir, and celebrate with song by candlelight.
